  • So you’re interested in booking Woven Light Co’s services, what now? Use the contact page to fill in the details about the shoot you are wanting, with the specific dates in mind. I’ll email within a few days to let you know if I am available. We’ll arrange a face to face meet up before hopefully booking your photography session in. (A deposit to secure the booking)

  • So I’ve booked in, where do we do the photoshoot? Indoor or outdoor? It’s completely up to you! Most of my newborn sessions are done in the comfort of your own home (as bub may need changing feeding during the whole shoot hehe). Family and maternity sessions normally happen outdoors, I suggest a few locations that suit the client. Happy to be flexible and cater to travel needs if necessary.

  • What do we wear!? My general rule for dressing for photoshoots is if one person is wearing something patterned everyone else wears block colours, this eliminates clash of patterns which is displeasing to the eye. For example- Mumma wearing floral dress, dad wears tan pants white shirt, kids wear white/cream/light blue/blush.. etc (email if you need further assistance in this). I also have a discount code for MAMA RENTALS, just make sure you order in time for the clothing items to be shipped to your location in time for your booked in session.

  • I’m not great at posing and don’t like looking at the camera, will my images look ok? Not a problem! I’ll help you on the day in a natural non-confronting way. My style is natural and candid, I love to get the real and raw moments in between “setting up the shot”, I’ll always give you one photo of everyone looking to camera, not to stress! I personally love the non posed unfiltered images, so yes I think your photos will still turn out great!

  • What happens if it’s raining on the day of our shoot? Not a problem, we’ll just reschedule for another time, as close to the original planned date as possible or at a time best suited to you. I’m very flexible ; )

  • How long until I receive my photos? And how do I get them? For all lifestyle photography sessions (this is couple, family, maternity, newborn, birth) I aim to have a quick turnaround of 1-2 weeks, I send a couple of sneak peak photos while you wait for the remaining images. For weddings the turnaround is 6-8weeks (as there is a lot more photos to go through). All images given via an easily accessible ONLINE GALLERY, option to purchase extra images if there are any.

  • If I want to cancel my photography session will I get my deposit refunded? Only certain circumstances will allow a full refund of your deposit. (in T&C’s form upon booking) If it’s simply for change of mind then unfortunately no. If a shoot is cancelled, it will have taken up time where another client could have had that session time. I hope you understand : ).

  • I’ve booked your wedding services, do I need to supply a meal for the photographer at the reception? Absolutely! We photographers get very hungry after a LONG day of working hehe!

  • I’m interested in BIRTH PHOTOGRAPHY, but how does it all work? Please email and ask for my specific birth photography info pack, it’ll have all the nitty gritty details in there. If you’d prefer a phone call or face to face meet though, happy to do that as well!
